19th May 2005 – After winning the Southend on Sea Ecommerce business awards, and Essex Ecommerce awards in previous years, Affordable Services has now 2 companies entered and in the finals for Essex 2005.

No longer running the category for ecommerce essexuncovered.com is now under the category for Information Technology. The award is broad and covers IT as in development. Essexuncovered.com with its pioneering technologies set the standard for clubbing sites throughout the country. Photo galleries, chat rooms, online post, what’s on are just a few of the hooks used to capture our clubbing audience membership of over 33,000.

Affordable Services is also a finalist for new business with its entry for Sunglasses Shop. Although the company has been trading online for several years the shop front is a fairly new venture in to the group’s success. With exciting new projects in the pipelines such as Nueu ™ the Sunglasses Shop is an entrant to back!

Affordable websites have been designing and developing websites in Essex for many years and is one of the longest running website design companies in Essex. As well as developing our own clients website, we also contract for other smaller designers providing help with the backend development for online shops and sites requiring ASP development. Website technologies range from Macromedia Flash through to custom ASP development for shopping websites and custom calendars.
